Lawrence Castle changed his address to heaven peacefully on May 4, 2013 in his home in Strawberry.
He was born March 27, 1919 in Ord, Neb.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a son and two daughters.
He proudly served the United States Navy as a first class machinist mate aboard the U.S.S. San Jacinto in 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1946.
Larry and his brother Cliff used to pick berries for Walter Knott before he started Knotts Berry Farm and was a frequent guest in Esther Williams’ swimming pool! He was a professional racer of motorcycles and cars and was still hang gliding at 70 years old!
Mr. Castle will always be remembered for his deep love for the Lord, cherishing his church family and those loved ones in his life.
His celebration of life memorial will be held at Crossroads Four Square Church attended by his church family, family and close friends.
