Longtime Mesa del Caballo resident Harry Robertson died Aug. 7, 2013 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Robertson was a civil engineer with Ameroon in Abudhabi, UAE in 1981. He graduated from the University of Wyoming after attending the University of Moscow in Idaho for a year.
After retiring to Mesa del Caballo in 1990, Robertson was a consultant for Salt River Project and concrete pipe construction. He was active in bowling leagues and raised miniature horses. He also served on the committee for paving the streets in Mesa del Caballo.
Robertson, who was born May 29, 1928, in Worland, Wyo. to parents George and Olga Robertson, is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jacquelyn; and one of seven siblings, sister, Helen Smith of Virginia.
He is also survived by sons, Stephen of Los Angeles and Sam of North Carolina and their spouses Lucy and Vickie; daughter, Susan Haun of West Virginia and her spouse Ron; and by six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
